Media reports only one side...what else is new?

Smith notes that media (including the pro death NEJM) always reports only one side on euthanasia...in this case, infanticide...

Jody Bottum at FirstThings predicts a media blitz to promote euthanasia in the near future, despite many setbacks...and the AMA backtrack on protecting life will help things along (PDF HERE) the key word in the AMA document is "dignity": like the word "choice", it is a stealth word to push an idea. After all, who wants to be undignified?
Dignity is the code word for killing someone whose life is "Undignified"...you know, "Untermensch", the sick, the senile, the retarded...

Update 2: Smith has an article on NR about the demise of the Hippocratic Oath.
The point about "stewardship of resources" is important, since the idea long pushed by Callahan and others is that we need to legally stop people from wasting resources on the most vulnerable...and of course, euthanasia is a lot cheaper than chemotherapy.
