No ID? Yes, they will let you fly

BoingBoing links to this survey showing that people who forget to bring a government issued ID are still able to fly...

Been there...done that. Especially in these days of E tickets, it's easy to forget your ID.

Two years ago, we flew from Tulsa to Chicago...half an hour from the Tulsa airport, I had Lolo check his wallet, and found he had left his wallet home...there was no time to drive back home to fetch it.

So airport security laughed and merely put him and his bags thru the full search...of course, I vouched for him and his e ticket was purchased under my own name.

An interesting aside is that our Oklahoma driver's license now has a fingerprint digitally scanned on it...
