Headlines and propaganda

Dr. Krauthammar compares the Baker commission with King Canute, who thinks that by saying something the sea (or in this case Syria and Iran) will obey.

The AP does an editorial against Gitmo as a news story, insisting all those killers released by the US as "non dangerous" are....no longer dangerous. ...of course, none of them did anything wrong. They were merely sightseeing in the Afghan mountains in the middle of winter...

St.Peggywrites that the hype about Obama needs a reality check.

Carolyn Glick ridicules Germany's ability to overlook the Nazi parallels in Iran.

And James Dunnigan gives a one page summary on why various people hated the "plan" against terrorism, and why the plan included invading Iraq...

Too bad Dunnigan wasn't on the Baker panel.
