Forget the FBI: The MPAA is spying on you

Hollywood is losing money, so they are going after college students who use peer to peer downloads...

And the Democrats are helping them do it, by putting it into a bill that mandates colleges to spy on students.
Bush spies on suspicious emails to prevent terrorism, and it's the front page. Harry Reid sponsors a bill mandating spying on college students, no problem.

The problem is not only that they will spy, but the WAPo computer geek notes that the program being offered "voluntarily" to colleges essentially allows hackers to break into the entire university network, since few of these networks have sophisticated firewall security to counteract the "feedback" part of the Hollywood program.
