Family news

Chano and Joy were busy up on the farm. The Dept of Agriculture sent a lady to give lectures on how to improve organic fertilizer for growing vegetables to the farmers at our greenhouse /model farm. And the farmers are busy mulching and flooding to prepare for planting.

It is very very hot, and the internet has been off. I have been sick from either bronchitis or severe allergy, which is better if I stay indoors.
Lolo is fine.

The mother cat kicked out the kitten, so we had been feeding her outside the window, but then we couldn't find her for two days... yesterday, when we went to the front garden to sit in the gazebo, BadBrad started hunting and barking at the wall...then I heard a kitten. He had chased her over the wall, at which point she fell into the drainage ditch. Luckily it hasn't rained in two days, so there wasn't much water, and I got her out before she drowned.

Ruby will be home schooled again next year. This allows her to go with her parents to tradefairs and visit relatives more often. A bit un structured, but she is artistic like her father so it fits her better than a structured school.
