Recipe link of the day

has the recipe on how to make Shrimp in coconut milk, one of Lolo's favorite recipes.

The recipe is "westernized" so you use coconut milk and clean the shrimp before eating.

Usually here in the Philippines we put rice on our plates, and spoon the liquid over the rice. Since we cook the shrimp whole, you put the shrimp on the side of the plate, and pick it up then suck the juice before removing the head and shell to eat it.

Of course, here in the Philippines, we pick a coconut and grate the meat to make the coconut milk.
But EHOW has instructions for making it if you prefer to use a blender.
