Swine flu vaccine in Australia, where the first human trials of the vaccine have begun. The vaccine isn't expected to be available in the U.S. until after school starts.
As much as 40% of the workforce could be affected during the peak of a pandemic, health officials say, noting low resistance to the H1N1 virus and its persistence through the summer months.

the reason I posted the below cartoon is to point out that a huge health care bill ignores the different reasons for lack of health insurance.
Each population needs a different solution...
The young could just pay a "catastrophic" insurance fee, in case they break their leg or get into a car wreck.
as for the immigrants without papers: From a public health standpoint, they could spread disease because they don't see doctors early (usually they come into the Emergency rooms at 11 pm, and pay cash)...
So maybe more federal clinics for those without insurance...
