Swine flu could kill hundreds of thousands in U.S. if vaccine fails, CDC says

the reason I posted the below cartoon is to point out that a huge health care bill ignores the different reasons for lack of health insurance.

Each population needs a different solution...

The young could just pay a "catastrophic" insurance fee, in case they break their leg or get into a car wreck.

as for the immigrants without papers: From a public health standpoint, they could spread disease because they don't see doctors early (usually they come into the Emergency rooms at 11 pm, and pay cash)...

So maybe more federal clinics for those without insurance...
