The land of Abraham

I'm studying right now the evolution of civilization and cities.
(USD has several courses on this with their mmw1, 2, and 3 series)

Univ of Penna museum has a lot of "MEGO" (i.e. boring) videos about archeology about that area.

Dr. David Nieman's lectures on youtube
are the easiest ones for laymen to enjoy, although they don't have a lot of fancy pictures (I converted them to mp3 to listen to).

so what does this have to do with Abraham?

I have this book but this video is from the PBS series.

and of course, there was a large Jewish community in what is now Iraq until the modern day pogroms encouraged them to move elsewhere.

epicurious blog has Sephardic passover recipes here.
