Stuff below the fold

It seems like a story out of fantasy, but the 14 days the miners in Chile spent in the dark is the stuff of nightmares.

‘We were in total darkness. The heat was oppressive. We all felt the Devil was down there with us. We prayed and prayed. It was a dark, black hole. We were buried alive. We were all so scared. We begged God to help us. We were worried we would starve to death or that the water would run out and we would die horribly from dehydration.’

And it says a lot about the sad state of the modern press that their "code of silence" was being spun by some in the press as hiding sex orgies, or plans for cannibalism...it was actually an agreement to shield those who broke down in the ordeal...
