Heh. All the big news outlets are reporting from the hotel and worried about their own security, but AlJazeerah has reporters on the ground.

Zeina Khodr, Al Jazeera's correspondent, said from the Green Square: "There's a party in the Libyan capital tonight. The people are in charge of the city. They've decided the square is now called Martyr's Square, the original name. They're shouting 'we're free' and shooting at a poster of Gaddafi."
another reason for the US to get AJ's english coverage on cable tv. Biased? yes but so is CNN and Fox...

I defended Obama's choice of vacation spot here, but then I used to live in Boston and don't consider Martha's Vineyard a place for only the rich. Obama's problem is his tin ear, not his choice of vacation spots.
