During Holy week, Catholics visit churches here in the Philippines, and the Manila paper discusses the various shrines in our area...our church even has a photo

All this drives the local American bible belt founded churches nuts: they quote the bible against us all the time.

But in the good old days, people learned the story of how God loved them and how we should act toward each other in stories, art, music, fiestas and plays.
