The black dog is in heat and the three male dogs are going crazy over her...they were barking last night and woke me up. I thought there was an emergency, so went out to check things, and only found that the half grown puppy had gotten himself locked upstairs in the laundry room (we have a gate on those stairs).
So the next time you hear about animals going crazy when there is an earthquake, take it with a grain of salt.. I checked: the only earthquake was miles away and this morning, not last night.
It's been raining every day too, but that is normal.
Ruby has a sore throat, Chano has a backache, and lolo and I are over our colds, although we still wheeze at times.
