FountainOfElias reminds us that this feast is also called 12th Night (from which the Shakespeare play and the 12 days of Christmas come from).
Our parish is the Three Kings Parish, so the city is having a fiesta today to celebrate.
The parade, however, was held yesterday, and includes bands, groups, and beautiful ladies.
Lolo and his fellow WWII veterans used to march together in the parade, but now they are, alas, old or crippled so they march no more.However, he did ride in our car as a part of the parade.
