come to think of it, it's not here on Windows 8.1 either, which came on my new crappy Lenovo computer (hey, I'm broke and it was on sale...it will probably work okay as soon as I put in more memory).
and you need separate software to watch your DVD's...
but as the comments point out, just download VLC for free and no problem.
