,,,,one of the customs is going to mass for 9 days before Christmas: pre dawn mass so the farmers could attend. Nowadays it is often young folk and family, and afterward many here go into the town center to eat a snack from Jolibee or vendors.

Joy is working with other business and government friends to collect food and gifts to send to the Visayas where there was a lot of devestation due to typhoons/floods and in some areas an earthquake.
A lot of charity here is personal.
We are all asked to give gifts to those who collect our garbage, clean our streets etc etc. but also to our help and their extended family.
