Recipe here:

Strawberry Bread

Ingredients:

2 ¾ cups All purpose flour

½ tsp salt

½ tsp baking soda

½ cup sour cream

½ cup butter, softened

1 ¼ cups sugar

1 tsp vanilla

4 pcs eggs

1 cup sliced strawberries

½ cup chopped cashew nuts

Procedure:

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour two 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

Sift flour and salt. Sprinkle baking soda in sour cream and mix well. Set aside.

Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until light. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add sour cream. Stir in flour mixture, then add sliced strawberries and walnuts. Mix well.

Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake until sides pull away from pan, around 50 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing.

Actually, although we make this in the USA, I was amazed they had a strawberry recipe in the Philippines...

Of course, as you know, you can find strawberries ANYWHERE....
