Rice harvest

No photos...we finished our last rice harvest yesterday.
We grow organic rice, so weeds were a problem this year...and rain is threatening the newly harvested rice...which has to be dried before it is husked.

For all those who think we should go back to the good old days, I suggest they spend a couple days harvesting rice by hand, then thresh it by hand, then dry it without using a concrete road or plastic tarp...

Our water was out yesterday.
What makes the Americans love the USA are two things: Decent water and toilets...
Iwould add a third thing: Air conditioning.
Even the poor in Oklahoma have Air conditioning...
