More than 50,000 acres have burned in the last 24 hours. About 30 homes have been lost to the flames and many families are being evacuated because of the approaching fires. Firefighters are battling blazes in 13 counties, but because of the high winds, firefighters have been unable to attack the wildfires from the air. Governor Brad Henry has issued an emergency declaration to help affected communities recover from the devastating fires.
