Why Philippinos will take over the world

Mark Steyn's editorial on the depopulation of Europe is being discussed all over the internet...

Essentially he says if you become secular, you don't have babies...and voila, the immigrants-- in this case Muslims-- take over...and bye bye Europe...

Of course, this assumes that Muslim women won't find out about the pill...but as Spengler of the Asian Times points out, the projected decline in Muslim population is just a generation behind that of Europe...

Of course, with China and Japan depopulating themselves, there already is a dearth of workers...that's why Singapore and HongKong imports so many maids from Indonesia and the Philippines...and with the Philippines, you have the advantage of a maid who knows English...

The dirty little secret is that "advanced" countries in Asia are busy aborting their girls, leading to an excess of young men...

Ah, but the Philippines will probably double it's population in the next twenty years...abortion here is less common than in other countries (it's illegal, but the illegal rate is fairly low), and there is less emphasis on males vs females....

So, has anyone wondered if those countries busy aborting their women will start coming here to find wives...or worse. sex workers or maids who will be sexually abused...?

Interesting discussion, but alas I am a doctor, not a sociologist, but it is something that needs to be discussed and is usually ignored...

All I know is that at NAIA (manila airport) I had to translate for a Japanese man who came to court a bride...you see, he was one of 100 000 South American Japanese hired to work in Japanese factories, and he needed a bride but couldn't find one in Japan.. so came here to find one...and alas, he didn't speak Japanese very well, nor English, nor Tagalog...so there I was, translating Spanish to English for an ethinic Japanese with a Bolivian passport...

Wonder what they will speak at home?

Update: The Economist sees depopulation as a happy thing LINK

See my post on singularity...they insist the need is for increased productivity...so maybe robots, not Philippinos will take over the world...and Grandpa, age 80 and still having to work, will push the button...
