APPLE

  1. Originally "a napple", a fruit much favoured for repulsing bloodletters and other medical professionals. Name changed due to confusion with certain body parts.
  2. From mid-1960s, the name of a record production company famed for having more stolen from it than it sold.
  3. From mid-1980s, a computer company making computers for people who didn't like having to deal with all that messy stuff under the hood. Oh, and only having one digit on their right hands...
  4. Today, a company that makes portable music devices much sought after by muggers and pickpockets.

  1. IT euphemism for slave labor.
