Rapunzel update take three

Rapunzel managed to escape from a tower by cutting off and climbing down her hair...and in Lebanon, there have been two killed and several more injured trying to escape abusive employers who would not let them leave employment in Beruit...

NGO notes sardonically:“If we were effectively reaching out to the abused domestic workers, then how come some of them ironically saw the war as a rare chance to escape from the exploitation they have been enduring?” the group said...
Oh yes: speaking of evacuation The ships are out...it would take too long and cost too much...

India, however, did get some of their people out on ships...and again there are reports of abuse this time of men who were recruited but did not have proper papers and so were exploited.....

One suspects these stories are the tip of the iceburg...of exploitation of Asian workers in the mideast..
