Censorship in the News

First they came for the cartoons, then they came for the Pope, and now they came for Mozart ...

The new film about the Dixie chicks downfall make it clear their fall from grace is not a free speech issue, but because the main singer is openly contemptuous to her fans...which is why an anti war, anti Bush, drug using ex con Willie Nelson is stil beloved, and the Dixie Chicks are now into...whatever they are singing now...


And Salon has an expose on a Republican who I never heard of is running for office: He said the "N" word in 1970....or at least 3 of 19 fellow classmates say they sort of remember him doing so...
The story relates that an ex classmate "when he heard that Allen was a possible candidate for president in 2008...began to write down some of the negative memories of his former teammate. He provided Salon excerpts of those notes last week."
thereby proving the proverb "Revenge is a meal best served cold"....
