Philippines the 121st most corrupt country in the world

The Good News: The Philippines is the 121st most corrupt country in the world...

The Bad news: The Philippines has a corruption score of 2.5 (0 being highly corrupt, 10 being honest).

The Good news: The Philippines just signed the UN Convention against corruption. So we are solidly against corruption here...

The Bad News:"...Senate Finance Committee Chairman Franklin M. Drilon yesterday deplored the failure of the Office of the Ombudsman to improve the country’s corruption perception index despite the increased budgetary support from the Senate..."

It's all smoke and mirrors, folks...
