Dog owners live longer than cat owners. They think it's from a combination of emotional support, meeting others and exercize. Yup. Chansing dogs around to chain them up during the day keeps me fit.

A NYTimes article has the headline "What Shamu taught me about a happy marriage"....it seems that the writer saw how they train dolphins patiently by showing them little by little and then giving rewards...so she used the same technique on her husband.
Of course, any pre feminist wife could have told her the same thing.
Earth To NYTIMES: anyone with kids knows Shamu is not a dolphin but a killer whale...
