Headlines below the fold

Boston was shut down by the Cartoon network...Powerpuff girls and Bugs Bunny deny any involvement.

Nigeria squandering Oil Riches proclaims the BBC....actually if they stopped stealing in Nigeria it would be headlines.

The politically correct rock concert promoter told fans not to wear their flag, because some saw it as a symbol of racism and gangs.
What they are referring to is fights like THIS where "ethnic groups" tore up, spat upon and burned an Aussie flag...and a mob attacked them...hmmm...
Guess what happened?...LINK2 "...Exuberantly irreverent, Australians of all races wore Australia flag bikinis, bandannas, flip-flops, sweaters, beach trunks, baseball hats and sundresses — and it didn't stop at the stadium. Millions of other Australians backed them up by displaying the flag around the country on a scale never seen in the country's history. "Twenty million gang members," beamed one approving Australian blogger" PHOTOS

Hey fellahs, to paraphrase Sigmund Freud: Sometimes a good flag is just a flag...

And now the sad news: Molly Ivins has died of breast cancer...there are few writers that make me laugh out loud, but she was one of them. Rest in Peace, Molly.
