Walter Reed, the IHS and Nationalized Health care

I can't find the link, but the blogosphere is discussing Dana Priests expose on Walter Reed.

Well, I was under the impression WR was going to be closed because it was in bad shape even before the Iraq war started, but like the WAPO article I can't find links.

However, after working with the Indian Health Service, I am familiar with federal health care, the good the bad and the ugly. Summary: If you need expensive care, good. If you need elective care, bad. If you don't understand paperwork, ugly.
