Lenten instructions for Catholics

Frog is NOT meat.
Alligator is NOT meat.
Turtle is NOT meat.
Crawfish is NOT meat.
Shrimp is NOT meat.
Squid is NOT meat.
Raccoon IS meat.
Squirrel IS meat.
Opposum IS meat.
Duck IS meat.
But in the Philipines, "duckling" is NOT
Goose IS meat
Guinea fowl IS meat
Venison IS meat
... and in 1917 turkey was not considered meat by the government in Oregon, but it IS still meat for us Catholics in the US in 2007.
