a Daughter's tribute to Micheal Flanders.


The writer of the classic song "Mud Mud Glorious Mud" and British radio personality survived after his ship was torpedoed, but a bout with polio.
He went into radio after the university turned him down saying they weren't a home for cripples. He was a pioneer for equal rights for the disabled, although not an "activist" just because he insisted he be treated as a normal person.
