Parkinson breakthrough?

Commonly used blood pressure drug stops or reverses Parkinson's disease in rats.

Does this mean that it works in humans? And do other similar drugs (called calcium channel blockers) stop Parkinson's from developing? If so, a population study should show a statistical difference. I mean, we use these medicines all the time...

Another reason that the hype that ONLY embryonic stem cells can cure and it's Bush's fault has more to do with Bush Derangement syndrome than with reality.
