Stuff under the fold

Headlines are nothing new, so let's look at the trivia today.

Bringing home the bacon and using lard for soap. Hmmm...sounds like the good old days.

Tomatoes here in the Philippines are are old fashioned, sweet, and thin skinned Roma tomatoes...cross breeding thick skin took away the taste of most US tomatoes. The answer? Frankentomatoes. Yum....

What do you do when the currancy is worthless? You use dollars, and Euros and Rands, and if you don't have them, you barter...

Ubuntu alert...now if I can only get my software running until my WinRescue discs come...no, Bill Gates, I am not paying you 17000 pesos for Windows just because my disc crashed.

Germany vs Tom Cruise. Of course Scientology is a "cult". But for some people in Europe, ALL religion are cults...the real question is if Cruise can act outside of his personality..... I can't imagine Stauffenburg dancing on a table...

English troops withdraw...yup. It only took 37 years to calm the "insurgency" in Northern Ireland...

cyberwar. Pentagon email broken into: Hackers, Chinese, or terrorists?
Interesting fact: The US has most broad band, but second is China, and broad ban allows hackers a way to work more easily.
