I wrote an essay on BNN about what's going on here in the Philippines: essentially nothing dangerous here except the traffic: My tricycle was sideswiped by another motorcycle on the way to the post office last week. No one hurt, thank God.
But I'll be glad when the Palenke is rebuilt and the streets aren't full of shops.
