Happy Spy Wednesday

In the pre vatican II days, today was "spy Wednesday", because it was the day that Judas decided to spy for those trying to capture Jesus.

I hear the BBC is rewriting the Gospel to "explain" the reason why...

But after living for a couple of years in the Philippines, my version of the story is that Judas was on the take to spy on Jesus, and got blackmailed into betraying him...and Jesus was eliminated because he was a whistleblower on the corruption racket going on in the Temple.

I gotta stop watching those Senate hearings....
