Harddrives are forever

Love is for a time, but hard drives are forever is the geek proverb.

Last week Strategy Page (scroll to March 1) pointed out
The troops found Raul Reyes laptop, and this produced a goldmine of email messages and documents. This information clearly showed FARC relationships with leftist leaders in Venezuela, Ecuador and around the world.

Well, more news stories are coming out in the Colombian press, and finally the US press has the news: Chavez trying to overthrow Uribe by paying FARC and instigating other leftists governments to do the same.
Will the US decide Chavez is a "sponsor of terrorism", meaning no more oil from Venezuela to the US? And if so, would China, who is now facing their own terrorists, buy up the oil or go along with the US Plan?

The irony? That the FARC guy was caught because he made a cellphone call to Chavez using a satellite phone he bought in Miami...
