Iran background

Jim Dunnigan/Strategy page has a long poar summarizing what's up in Iran.

Lots of addiction, and drug smuggling.
Middle class getting tired of having their ankles slapped for dressing wrong.
Russia joined in the UN Sanctions because they are worried about the bomb. (Yes, Iran DOES need nuclear power for electricity).
The bank task force has teeth.
And finally:
The Iran/Iraq treaty is a good thing.

Iran and Iraq have agreed to restore many parts of the 1975 treaty that settled long standing border disputes. Saddam tore up this arrangement when he invaded in 1980. The new deal will mean better border security and less risk of border police from both countries shooting at each other.
