Actually, my main problem with the movie's Lembas was that the breads were supposed to be wafers wrapped in leaves, not cookies open to the air with only a partial leave covering.

Here in the Philippines, they cook sticky rice with coconut juice and then steam it. It is called Suman...
Ourlocal type is wrapped in banana leaves...but there is a slightly different version that is wrapped in palmleaf...
we usually eat them with Mangoes because the sweet rice counteracts the acid of the very sour mangoes.
