Your tax dollars at work

My mom used to work for a small company that made patches for companies to place on the shirts and jackets of their employees, including some for the space program workers. When they were done wrong, the ladies in the office would bring them home for us kids to place on our jackets.

Well, patches are still big...

So much for secrecy...

One patch shows a space alien with huge eyes holding a stealth bomber near its mouth. “To Serve Man” reads the text above, a reference to a classic “Twilight Zone” episode in which man is the entree, not the customer. “Gustatus Similis Pullus” reads the caption below, dog Latin for “Tastes Like Chicken.”

So theoretically, all a spy would have to do is find the company and count the number of patches ordered to figure out where our tax dollars are going...
