The monsoon has come early. For the last ten days, we've had afternoon or evening rainstorms.

Yesterday, we had a brownout...I don't like to use the computer on generator, for obvious reasons of power surges, and the internet doesn't always work.

Last night we had a terrible thunderstorm. I moved the puppies into the bedroom, and all the other dogs came in because they were frightened of the thunder. We also have a cat and kitten in the bathroom.

Lolo is fine. On Tuesday, a teacher comes to teach Art class for Ruby and about a dozen other kids.
Today the greenhouse teaching is going on, so the staff will be making meals for 50 to eat at the farm.
The veggies from the project are good quality: Large and insect free. The seedlines are raised in the greenhouse, then tranplanted to a field with plastic mulch to keep down the weeds and irrigation.

So no herbicides, no pesticides, and only organic fertilizer.
