I just posted this to read later. I usually don't read this right wing magazine, but am posting it so that I can write about the huge counterfeit drug problem in Asia at BNN later.
Interestingly, the writer brings up the horror that there might be terrorist links (DUH) which is silly...the real problem is similar to the heparin scandal: The drugs are adulterated and don't work...and the main worry is that anti malarial medicines which are lower than normal doses not only lead to people dying, but they are encouraging malaria resistance to the best drugs.
