Science headlines below the fold


The Nobel Prize has been awarded to scientists who studied why jellyfish glow.

Essentially they can use it to tag protein and watch what it does and where it goes (think of it as a tiny GPS that lets the cops watch the bad guys do their stuff).

That remedy goes back 2000 plus years.
So does sugar...we tried this on a nasty wounds in the past...the main problem is keeping off the bugs.
but caution: Honey can contain nasty clostridium germs.
