First Things alert

First Things magazine lost it's long time editor, but is hiring new writers.

For those not into "religion" it is a thoughtful magazine about the intersection of religion and culture (two things that interest me).

I used to subscribe, because their articles are so deep that they are the type to underline and ponder...not something one can read on the computer. Alas, I can't afford it nowadays.

Father Neuhaus' sardonic monthly article was the best part of the journal. So who we become their monthly curmugeon?

Well, they are hiring Spengler, (of the Asian Times)...he should make some from both ends of the political spectrum annoyed...
