Yesterday they held the Flores de Mayo/Santa Cruzen celebrations...which means it's time for the beauty contests and more procession/parades.

it's hot, so Lolo and I went to the 5:30 am mass to avoid the crowds for the procession at the 7 AM mass...
At the San Lorenzo chapel, they held it after the 5pm mass...alas too dark for photos.

But the Mall also held their own celebration...each business had a banner, and a child dressed up like a princess, with her young escort.....Ruby represented the McDonald's Kitty Crew, and all the businesses had banners and young ladies (with escorts) in the parade through the parking lot and up to the meeting area in front of the hardware store. They then had some dancing and singing before giving out awards.

One little girl about 3 years old kept dancing and breaking the soap bubbles floating around when she was supposed to be standing still on stage...she won the "cutest princess" award. This time, Ruby didn't win any awards.
