Was the Garden of Eden in Africa? In the Kalihari?
Africa shows the greatest genetic variation in it's peoples...and one of the oldest DNA variations is in the San people...
But of course, the Kalihari was not a desert a couple thousand years ago...and the San moved there only from population pressure from the stronger Bantu etc.
Big question: Where did the "hobbit" fit into the picture?
Another trivia finding: most American blacks came via the West Indies...this makes sense since importing of slaves was stopped decades before slavery was abolished, but a lot of smuggling came in from the West Indies...
and most American Indians seem to be closely related genetically...
