Insomnia downloads of the day

Teresa of Avila's classic book on spirituality The Interior Castle is now for download on Librivox.

And a book that I am listening to now has the second part for download...Life of Charlotte Bronte...
If you wonder where the nasty brother character came from, you'll find it here...

Since I'm studying ancient Roman history, I was aware that Suetonias was the National Enquirer of the early Roman empire, but I wasn't aware that Tacitus was the equivalent of the HuffPost...boy, did he hate Augustus Caesar.

Well, the new book is his "Agricola" with a theme that sounds like today's multiculturalism:
"...As in the Germania, Tacitus favorably contrasts the liberty of the native Britons to the corruption and tyranny of the Empire; the book also contains eloquent and vicious polemics against the rapacity and greed of Rome...."

Ah yes, after all, what did the Romans ever do right?
