They are arresting opposition leaders and professors, aside from keeping reporters indoors away so they can't see demonstrations/violence.
CNN International, which we get here, is obediently showing propaganda films from Iranian TV to keep the reports "fair and balanced"...luckily we get the BBC which is a lot more accurate.
