No to Con Ass

big demonstration expected in Makati today against change to a constitutional assembly that is supported by president Arroyo...

the big question is if it will only be the "usual suspects" or if it will escalate into something big.

The reason behind the Con Ass and Cha(rter) Cha(nge) is that if the constitution is changed, then Gloria, who is no longer eligible to remain president, would be able to be appointed as Prime minister and continue to run the country.

Oh well, up here it's rice planting season, so no one is eager to go...
