Family update
The typhoon in the northern Philippines has stalled, and may start coming south. (pushed by that typhoon in the upper right corner of the photo)
The offical site is HERE.
At 4:00 p.m. today, Tropical Storm "PEPENG" {PARMA} was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 50 kms North of Laoag City (18.7°N, 120.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 105 kph near center and gustiness of up to 135 kph. It is forecast to move South Sotuhwest at 12 kph.
We have had sun all day, but now it is clouding up.
The authorities have lowered the level of some of the irrigation dams just in case, ...
and those who haven't harvested their crops may suffer in the next few months.
