does the climate change treaty mean the US and all other countries will lose national sovereignty over their own affairs? Or is the British writer just crazy, as the UK Guardian claims?
Well, Ban Ki-moon (of the UN) wrote this in a NYTimes Editorial:
"...A deal must include an equitable global governance structure. All countries must have a voice in how resources are deployed and managed. That is how trust will be built...."
no, letting dictatorships and kleptomaniacs who run countries as their private fiefdom have the same voice as Democratic countries is bad enough, but when countries with fewer people than McKeesport PA have votes equal to China or the US, maybe someone should question his assumptions.
but Sense of Events Blog argues that the treaty cannot override the constitution HERE.
