Philippine Stuff below the fold

Arroyo spent over P400 million in Pampanga "for the construction of roads, drainage canals and municipal buildings in her home district in Pampanga just 12 months before she runs as its representative in the House in May."

Bishop claims ConCon part of Gloria's "hidden Agenda"...the idea is that she will run for Congress, become prime minister under the new constitution, and then be immune from lawsuits for all the questionable things she did as president.

Heavily guarded Comelec offices
were ransacked...

"For his part, Sen. Rodolfo Biazon said authorities should identify the people behind the latest break-in as it would appear that it was related to the massive cheating committed there in 2004 and 2007."

the voter documents found with the guns in the southern province where that massacre occured were moved to the Comelec offices...and the officer who issued them just dropped dead of "heat stroke" while at the the hajj...

Is there a Hello Garci link?

During the 2004 presidential election, Ms Arroyo won most of the votes in Maguindanao. In one town, her rivals did not even get a single vote....

what do I think about all this?
Don't ask me...I voted for Hillary.
