Senator Lacson goes on vacation to flee a nine year old murder charge.
Why wasn't his passport confiscated when he was indicted?

I'd be more cynical if I hadn't seen the same thing done in the coal region of Pennsylvania, where a judge fled after conviction so that he wouldn't spill the beans.

of course, he wasn't alleged to be guilty of murder, but wasn't it strange that the mini mall owned by the guy who testified against him burnt down right after his testimony?
