Belmont Club quotes Friedman saying the big shots at Davos think the US is unstable...Friedman himself merely thinks the US needs to get "unstuck" and move "forward"...
ah, but what if we are at the edge of a cliff, and it's only the tire "stuck" in the mud that keeps us from falling off?

and Epochtimes's Barbarian notes that Friedman knows little about China, and seems unaware that the largest source of US oil is....

NYTimes review of books essay discusses scientific consensus and health care "guidelines"...
this ignores that most of what we do is treat the patient, not cure the disease....
and will the health police continue to tell us how to live healthy lives, making unhealthy habits a crime instead of a sin?
